Culture Reports and Send-Out Lab Reports

We are all responsible for following up on the culture reports and send-out labs. This is now available within Cerner. The lab will not be printing out reports.

The day-shift physician and midlevels should review these at the beginning of each shift and make calls as indicated throughout the day as time permits.

• To access, click “View” in the top left corner and select “Results Callback Worklist” (image 1 below)

• Next, sort the worklist under the “Criteria Lists” and “Facilities” and “Locations” (image 2 below)

• Finally, watch the 3-minute video below on how to complete a callback.
